Our Mission

The identity layer
the internet was always missing

Online platforms know your financial history. Digital services know your address history. Third-party systems know your purchase behavior. None of them asked. Your data is everywhere — not because anyone planned it that way, but because the tools to do it differently didn't exist. Until now.

Avallis is the alternative — an identity authority where you hold the credential, you decide who verifies it, and businesses get trustworthy answers without ever touching the underlying data.

The Thesis

The current data economy is structurally broken. Every time you interact with a bank, a healthcare provider, a retailer, or a landlord, copies of your personal data multiply across databases you have no visibility into, no control over, and no recourse against if they're breached.

This happened because identity verification was historically an institutional problem solved by institutions — for institutions. The credit bureaus, background check companies, and data brokers built the infrastructure. They built it for themselves, and they hold your data without ever asking.

The regulatory and consumer trajectory is clear: that model is ending. CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, and dozens of state privacy laws are all converging on the same requirement — explicit, revocable, per-purpose consent.

Avallis is built consent-first by architecture, not by retrofit. The vault is yours. The consent is on-chain. The verification is server-side and zero-PII. When the regulatory standard requires what we already do, the institutions that integrated Avallis will already be ahead of the curve.

We call it the inverse CDP. Not a platform that aggregates your data for corporate benefit — a platform where you hold the record and organizations earn access to it by your permission, every time, for every purpose.

Founding principles

Not aspirational values. Architectural commitments. Each one constrains how we build and operate — permanently.

Consent is a primitive, not a checkbox

Consent is a primitive, not a checkbox

Every data access in Avallis requires explicit, revocable user consent — anchored on-chain. Not buried in a terms-of-service page. Not implied by account creation. Explicit, per-request, and permanently auditable.

No data sales. Structurally impossible.

No data sales. Structurally impossible.

We cannot sell user data because we never aggregate it. Each vault is individually encrypted with a key only the user holds. There is no master database to sell. This is a business model commitment enforced by architecture.

Verification without exposure

Verification without exposure

The Vault Verify API answers business questions server-side and returns only the result — never raw PII. A bank can confirm income eligibility without seeing the number. A landlord can verify age without seeing the DOB.

Compliance as floor, not ceiling

Compliance as floor, not ceiling

GDPR and CCPA are minimums. Avallis is designed to satisfy regulatory requirements that don't exist yet — because the trajectory of data regulation is clear. Consent-first, user-sovereign architecture is where every major jurisdiction is heading.

User-aligned revenue model

User-aligned revenue model

Our revenue comes from enterprise API consumers who need verified data — not from the individuals whose data it is. When the user's privacy wins, so does our business. That alignment is permanent, not aspirational.

Radical transparency, not performative privacy

Radical transparency, not performative privacy

We publish our data architecture publicly. Every access event is auditable by the user. Blockchain anchoring makes consent grants permanently verifiable by anyone. No black boxes, no trust-me promises.
